formed in 1981 under the stewardship of Mr.
R. R. Pandey, the Chairman and CEO, a
veteran with more than 39 years in the
tourism industry. Out of which he had 16
years of experience in Royal Nepal Airlines
Corporation, the national flag carrier, in
various capacities. Its Managing Director
Mrs. C. L. Pandey has more than 39 years of
experience in the field. Individual
Departments are managed by professionals
having above 15 years of experience in their
related fields.
Since its inception Everest Express has
grown into one of the largest travel
agencies in Nepal. It is now the GSA of four
International Airliners - Singapore Airlines
since 1987, Delta Air Lines since 1994 and
Silk Air in 2003 for the Kingdom of Nepal.
It is one of the leading Destination
Management companies of the country. Apart
from providing services in Nepal it also
offers services to many other destinations
like Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim and North
India. Besides, other areas in which Everest
Express is involved are - Authorized agent
for all the major on-line and off-line
international carriers and domestic
airlines, inbound and outbound cargo
handling, trek arrangements, cruise agent.
Everest Express employs over 55 staffs that
are thoroughly trained and experienced in
their particular job, including 6 licensed
multilingual guides who have several years
of experience apart from the training they
obtained from Hotel Management and Tourism
Training Center.
Everest Express has always been forerunner
in employing best available resources to
ensure excellence in services that it
provides. Everest Express maintains its own
fleet of cars, vans, coaches and four wheels
drive vehicles to ensure the quality at par.
Everest Express runs its business from its
own office building at Kamaladi, which
occupies over 5000 sq ft of office space. It
utilizes modern technologies like network
computer system customized software, fax,
email, Internet is employed for the smooth
running of operation. All the staffs are
provided with their own individual email
addresses. It is linked with airlines
reservation systems like Abacus, Amadeus,
Kriscom (SQ), Deltamatics (DL) and Galileo.
Everest Express was awarded with a trophy
and a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ by His
Majesty’s Government, Ministry of Tourism
for being the second highest foreign
currency earner in 1995. It has also
received a commendation letter from His
Excellency the Minister of Tourism, His
Majesty’s Government of Nepal on 4th January
1994 for “its excellent services to the
Travel & Tourism industry of Nepal.”

Organizations such as Nepal Association of
Tours & Travel Agents (NATTA). Pacific Asia
Travel Association (PATA), Japan Association
of Travel Agents (JATA), and Travel Agents
Association of India (TAAI), Nepal Freight
